G4 Jimny Rear Wiper Blade Replacement

Went down to two local motor factors this afternoon and totally failed to source a replacement rear window wiper blade for my 2018 G4 Jimny. No problem buying front blades (lots of options) but the rear one wasn't even listed on their computer systems. Can anyone help me spec the correct 12" blade that will do the job? Any recommendations appreciated.

try a better motor factors. The rear isn't anything special, just a regular blade and fitment.

Thanks for responding but looking along the factor's shelf was like 'confusion marketing' - where a "regular one" wasn't apparent.

Halfords list it as a Bosch A282H @£12.00 and Amazon has it priced at £9.49.
Take your pick.

Had to go to a dealer in the end as everyone, including Halfords, claimed to have the correct one in their listings and didn't.

Hi Forum members and many thanks for your informative and considered responses - one of the joys and benefits of this forum. Now I'm sweating as to what my Suzuki dealer is charging for a single  12" wiper blade. I did think that when two well known motor factors couldn't deliver a quick reference/SKU from their computer systems, then there might be an issue with sourcing the part! So it's now looking like the rear window wiper blade is indeed something rather special!

Google suggests the Suzuki part is about £20.

How about changing the arm if you can't get blades or don't want to pay stupid prices.
It is after all is said and done nothing special.

Over on one of the FB groups apparently these are the Bosch Aero alternatives.
AR13U from Bosch for the rear and
AR16U for the front

Over on one of the FB groups apparently these are the Bosch Aero alternatives.
AR13U from Bosch for the rear and
AR16U for the front
The 16U fits the front as they are 'retro' fits. i.e. they fit the tradition hook style fitment.

Eurocarparts has them on offer at the mo.

The 13U is the wrong fitment however and will not work. I have a different blade for the rear, but let me go and check the rear as I haven't fitted it yet.

It's a private group, so no point t in me linking it, but a few responded to say they had fit them. No mention of the rear not fitting.
I thought most replacement blades came with an assortment of fitting to suit different arms nowadays.

Ok, so the AR13U is too big really. Sorry getting mixed up. The Land Rover Defender uses 13" blades and the AR13U is indeed a retrofit and will physically fit the arm.

However they are 13" long. The factory blade is about 11 1/2 long. So the 13U will likely overhang the glass, as there isn't much of a gap.

I originally bought a Bosch A281H as it was a flatbalde of the right length. But this does indeed have the wrong fitment.

So I swapped it for a Bosch SP11 which is rated at 11"/280mm

As you can see it is ever so slightly shorter than the factory fit option:

But has the correct fitment:

Incidentally, I found it easier to move the arm upright to remove the old blade (turn wiper on, turn ignition off when in the position you want).

The swept area is slightly less with this blade, but it'll do for now. However if you look at the glass where original was, I think you'd be overlapping the paint with the 13" blade.

Front wiper blades are 400mm and rear is 300mm.
