This might just be barking mad, but please bear with me;)
There's a likelihood that my Jimny is going to be full of my partner's e-bike and panniers later in the summer for a return trip from Yorkshire
to Skye. Has anyone ever put a top box on their car or would it make it too top heavy - I'm banking on there being no crosswinds or anything that would make travelling in any way dangerous other than normal traffic/ weather conditions. Can you get them to fit, it's not something I've ever considered before?

Temeraire (2018 quasar grey automatic)
One of the last 200ish of the gen3s, probably.
Bellerophon (2024 grello van daily
ADOS Attention Deficit Ooooh Shiny!
Perfectly viable with one main caveat. The standard roof rails are limited to 30kg because of the plastic feet. With a set of cross bars and a box you're not going to have massive amounts of cargo capacity.
