Not that I'm in any rush, but I'd like to look at options for bigger tyres for my 4th Gen.

I love the look of the ARB Jimny with their 40mm lift. Apparently they are running 235/75R15 on stock alloys and no spacers.

What are peoples thoughts on this size? I'm assuming the stock power and gearing should cope as the tyre is only marginally taller than the standard one?

standard 195/80R15 = 27.28"
235/75R15 = 28.88"

I'm also assuming as the Old Man Emu suspension kit (ARB) offers full flex, that this size tyre should fit on without a lift kit?

Tyres I'm considering at BFG KO2 All Terrains or Maxxis Wormdrive AT980e's.

That's 40mm more rubber on the ground + tyre weight slowing you down. More force needed to turn the wheels more ware on the clutch, bad fuel economy. Not for a daily driver.

Found this via Google.

Claims to be fitted with the OME 40mm suspension and 215/75R15's. Looks friggin ace!!!

The KM03 is a handsome tyre. But I'll be doing too many road miles really, so it will be AT for me.

stormcustoms.com, they have a web address, but I can't seem to access their site.
