I'm in the market for new tyres and ideally I'd like some Grabber AT3's which seem to be difficult to get right now in standard size so failing that maybe Goodyear AT Adventure, I like the tread pattern on both of these, my Jimny is standard and I don't off road or green lane, mainly A road, town and motorway and the occasional country lane. Have got budgets fitted at the moment and thought I'd treat it to some premium tyres after getting kingpins and bearings sorted and steering damper fitted also wanted AT's for just in case and because my HT's were not great in snow.
But now I've seen Demon Tweeks are selling Toyo's for £54 a tyre which seems like a great price only thing that puts me off is they don't look as aggressive but actually might be better suited to my driving anyway
tbh I kind of wanted the others for looks as much as anything else but at this price its tough choice. Does anyone have any experience of these tyres in standard size, or modified I suppose.
Thanks

I have the toyo MTs in a much bigger size and like them, way quieter than the cooper stt pros before or the Maxxis 764 before that. I would expect the Toyo's to be an excellent choice, especially for that price

Hi Folks.
Yokohama MTG003s may not be what you are looking for oldgitinajeep (great handle), but they are reviewed very well on the Web. Same price as KO2s.
See

- for an honest 20,000 mile review.
And I should have said that they are viewed as particularly good on-road as well (for a mud terrain).

Turns out the Toyos were out of stock in Jimny size could have got some geolanders for a good price but once you factor in getting them fitted etc. its less hassle just going to a garage (so long as you have done your homework first).
In the end my local Bathwick Tyres were able to supply and fit the grabbers for £90 a corner which wasn't too bad I think the cheapest I saw online for supply only was £76 so I did OK. As far as the tyres go very happy with them good grip on the road, not very noisy for fairly aggressive at's and they look pretty cool and tread pattern looks like it will eject mud and stones pretty well off road so in my opinion worth the extra to find and worth the extra over the others I mentioned.
