New wiki article on specialized Jimny modification parts sources

I have just written this new wiki article which lists all the manufacturers and stores of specialized modification and accessory parts for Jimnys, worldwide.

I populated the lists from my old records which are at least two years old, and I did not check every link if they are still in the business.
It could also be possible that a few of the sources do not make or stock Jimny specific parts any more.

Anyway, I invite everyone else to contribute to those lists, so that we can have a comprehensive list of various custom / specialized manufacturers and sellers of modification and accessory parts for Jimnys, which Suzuki does not make.

Hi, thanks for adding this, a very good resource.

There is a handful of good suppliers in South Africa. I've tried to edit the Wiki page but at the end when I try to save the edits it kicks me out saying my session is expired. Anyway, had enough of messing around with this, if you'd like to add them, here they are:

wizerd.co.za/

www.stofpad4x4.co.za/

jackalproducts.wixsite.com/jimnyaccessories

You should probably remove the rough country and procomp from the list. They don't make anything for the Jimny. It just happens so that a couple of their shocks fit the Jimny.

But both RCV Performance and trail gear makes stuff for the Jimny.

I've just added the sources which you mentioned into that Wiki page.

Some other users have reported the same error when trying to edit the Wiki.

Martin administers the Wiki and he should look into it.

I added appropriate notes about Rough Country and ProComp, but I think they should still be left in the lists.

Are there any more UK-based manufacturers or sellers to list?

I also remember that there were some German and Japanese manufacturers and sellers, but unfortunately I've lost my records about them ....

That's great Bosanek, thanks. That Wiki is becoming one helluva resource, mainly through your considerable efforts.

Then you should also add King, Fox, Radflo, Ori etc as they also makes shocks that fits the Jimny.

Also, Bilstein and Koni both makes shocks specifically made for the Jimny.

Offroad Armoury have stopped making Jimny parts. Now they only make custom built spaceframe buggies and sells builder parts.

The session editing issue is due to the cookies that mediawiki places on your computer when editing. It appears to get confused when you swap editors. You need to clear cookies from BigJimny from your browser

I would prefer that this wiki entry refers to kits/modifications etc suppliers rather that individual component supplies. e.g. you cannot buy a suspension kit from Koni, Pro-Comp , you cannot even buy shocks as you have to go through a distributor. Otherwise it will become huge with every shock, winch, strop supplier etc. I think it should be short and concise with indictions of the suppliers core products offered (eg lift kits/jimny parts), their location and delivery scope (eg global)
