I have just stumbled upon this:
www.alibaba.com/product-detail/2016-new-....7743248.51.8.0Hyr5M

Looks great on the picture. As many Chinese products do.

If someone is willing to experiment, then inform us how it went after buying and trying one.

Indeed I saw $1-300...... Maybe I could loan my spare pair of glasses out? :D

I like the look of it but the 36kg is kind of a downer for me....I avoid hitting the scenery so haven't considered making a battering ram....yet!

Another concern is when I manage to hit a pedestrian will the metal bumper add to their injuries......not that I care....but it's a litigious world...

All metal front bumpers will severely impact the fate of anything that they impact.

this is why bumpers needs to be EC type approved nowadays. very few (if any) aftermarket winch bumpers/bull bars have this, so they would be only for offroad use in EU.

the directive in question

I've bought quite a bit through Alibaba, it isn't really a problem but its a trade to trade site, if you're buying retail then aliexpress is usually easier.

Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.
