Hi all,

New to Jimny's and this site, bought my first off roader as a good friend recently bought a Landrover and I fancied something different.

Bought my jimny already done, had some serious money spent on it (has external roll cage, lifted (body and suspension), 31" Malatesta tyres, front winch, 1.6 from a Baleno and a few other goodies, maybe (hopefully  ) someone will recognise it?!

I love the little thing but its been some aggro already haha

My panhard bar snapped clean off (on the N/S), has anyone ever had this before?

I've replaced the drivers side king pin bearings the weekend just gone but still have some ghastly death wobble :S I've read the sticky on death wobble so will be exploring all those avenues in due course

Hi Keithy,

Yes the panhard bar has been bodged previously, it had been threaded on the N/S so kept coming loose, a mate of mine welded the bolt head to stop it coming back out and braced the bracket

I'm hoping its not going be a case of replacing the front axel

Hi, I'm in Rochford, where are you based and where have you been with it thus far?

It looks quite good and capable.

Hi Kirkynut,

I used to work in Rochford, I live in Hornchurch.

I've mainly been doing the byways around Ongar, Dunmow and surrounding areas, it is a very capable little car, I didn't realise you need to manually lock the front hubs  so went in a big hole at the river crossing by the A120 Dunmow area, and got stuck :silly:

Where do you take yours Kirky?
