OBD Reader & Software was created by Al.
I'm looking for an OBD to USB reader and software, Has anyone got a recommendation for one they have or have used already. Idealy it will also read the ABS and Airbag system.
I have a laptop that's setup to service my Seadoo using Candoo hardware, so figured I might as well get on for the jimny.

Only the Bosch tool is available for a 2015, you don't want to know the price!

Hi Rhino.
Go on, lets have a laugh. My jetski unit came in at £350 then add the laptop. I figure 2 services will be needed before I break even on it.
I did look at your unit on your website, but I assume its for old jimnys only.

Any CAN enabled EOBD tool will give you the basic engine data, the enhanced engine data and the airbags and ABS would need the Bosch tool. I haven't invested in one myself, it is the official dealer tool and you would probably be looking at something in the region of $5k. I have the older tools, Tech 1, Tech 2, SDT which I bought used and they cost me something like $2500 over the years. Even with those some of the functions are dealer only, you have to be logged onto the service portal through the dealer network.
Edit: The Bosch tool came in in around 2013 however if Suzuki didn't change the protocols then you may be able to use an SDT.
