i have to get me a set for my new jimny, but i have an issue with the drivers window..it closes fine (slow as hell as per usual), but when opening, one quarter of the way down it starts slowing down, ans sometimes halfway is stops. if i keep my finger on the button it wont stop, but is super slow like it's being forced.
my mechanic cracked open the door and there was nothing wrong inside, he "lubed" the sills, was a bit better for a week, but now it's as it was before...
in the morning dew i noticed something...the passanger window, when it opens, the sill "scrapes" off the condensation on the lower half of the glass when the glass is coming down, but the drivers door the outside lower sill doesn´t touch the glass at all, so i know the pressure is coming from either the sides or the inside of the bottom sill.
when i installed the deflectors on the old jimny the opening action became a little strained...i'm afraid if i install them on this one it ill be a problem for the driver's window...thinking of cracking open the trim on the door and removing the inside seal on the lower windoq seal to see if that little extra space helps.
what do you guys think?

Me, I would take off the door card andtake a close look to see if there is any problem with the guides and I'd also make sure that any rubber/silicone lubricant was reaching the lower parts. I may be possible to fettle something to help the problem go away.Decklandpt wrote: what do you guys think?

Benn wrote: I am after some help please... I have just got myself a set of secondhand Heko deflectors, but obviously they don't still have their original mounting materials, so I was wondering if anyone could please let me know what sort of sticky stuff I need in order to fit them, and where to get it from? I am assuming I need some double sided tape that is able to withstand the weather, but having already looked in Halfords and B&Q they only seem to have the padded type, which I am guessing would be no good for the deflectors as they need something thin?
When I changed one of my cars, I transferred some Heko one's to another car (same model). The tape needed to be renewed so I contacted an online tape specialist and he sent me some tape that was really thin, double sided and waterproof. It worked a treat. I might be wrong but I may still have some at home (can't promise though). If I have, I will gladly send you some in the post. I work away from home but I am back on Thursday afternoon. I will check and let you know. If I don't have any I will try to get the name of the online shop I bought it from and advise you. Hope this helps?

Hi Benn, really sorry but I can't find the tape I mentioned It was a number of years ago but I believe the link below is the item I purchased. If you give them a call on Monday and explain your situation I am sure they will reaffirm / advise. Hope this helps? Let me know how you get on?

I have had Climair one's on a previous car and thought they were great quality however they had a silly light blue branding on them. Fortunately the Suzuki branded one's have the S logo instead so great result all round. Really chuffed
And do the windows close ok without struggling??
