I know a lot of guys are running the t-max system about 70-80quid if not go on eBay tipe split charge system on lowest first all them 10-30quid systems are just the same just No fancy box's

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationuse 1 of these... you can get them from Halfords too but for £20..
I use these in the VW Campers I build as they don't break into the vehicle electrics, you just connect via a fuse to the battery and then its auto sensing.. I've also got one on my Nissan Navara charging a battery in the back which powers an invertor for using powertools etc..
they have 2 8AMP relay outputs use one for your coolbox and the other for powering a big relay for heavy duty stuff like charging a winch battery..
If you ask nice or donate to the forum I will draw up a diagram for you..

I bought a Durite 140A intelligent split charge relay at the local auto electrical shop in glasgow (Stanley Harris) at £35 + VAT. Doesn't pass anything through to the second battery till it see's 13.2 volts, used 1 for ages on a sprinter race van I built and never had any problems with it.
