Good luck for your lass Steffan, bad news on that wheelie bin ffs
As Lambert says, no snow forcast for us in Yorkshire - I don't mind a bit of snow action but don't like it hanging around - the novelty soon wears off.

It it doesn't I'm going to look a right 'pleb' ( am I allowed to say that? )
Wife is checking weather and things are changing all the time lol
I also believe the met office is not normally right rather than old Derek on the weather!

It's my first winter with the Jimnybeast and I want to know what to do about 4wd. I live in the ar*e end of nowhere, but do use proper roads although they can get extremely slippy as we're on nobody's salting map.
So - if it's dry but really icy is it OK to use the 4wd to stop me sliding or do I have to be axle-deep in snow before using it?
I don't want to put the beast in a ditch, but I also don't want to kill the 4wd by using it wrongly.
Using the 4wd off-road isn't an issue - all good; but it's the on-road-in-crap-weather running I'm not sure about
Thanks
