ATV winch on a Jimny? was created by Yohann
I have been owning a Jimny for a few years now, it is a daily driven (on the bad roads of the Philippines), goes every weekend on "jungle" tracks (well it is not a forest but not really deep jungle), and the beach when we are in a remote area.

I have been thinking of getting a winch for sometimes to be able to get me out if ever. I do not plan to do any serious off-road at all.

Thanks Steffan.

So no reasons to put a "real" winch which will weight 15 to 20 kilos more?

I do not know if the stock springs would support the load, hence the concern about weight.

But if it makes more sense to go for a heavier one with some springs spacer, that will work too.
