Newbie and a new Jimny was created by Lee a kada
Hi everyone

I've just bought a new Jimny (a manual SZ4). Pick it up next month on a 63 plate which is also my birth year.

Great info on here and I've already learned a great deal.

Will post pictures when I get it

I live high up in South Yorkshire so am looking forward to the snow coming and giving the Jimny a good workout

Regards

Hello Lee a Kada.
Welcome to you and your Jimny !!!
Have lot's of fun with it.... you will see, after some miles automatically you will have a big smile on your face !
And it will not disappear as long as you're sitting in your car.
Maybe time to start a new topic... the smile from Jimny owners in Close-up...

Welcome to the forum Lee a Kada, & welcome to the Jimny experience. I myself am a newcomer to both and have to admit to being a convert. This is my first 4 wheel drive and have to admit I am enjoying it and an added bonus is I am quite content driving at a slower speed and so am not having to constantly monitor the speedo. Great for ease of mind as far as speed cameras go. Like you I am looking forward to winter and hopefully copious amounts of snow, just like being a kid again with a new sledge. ps, I am slightly jealous of you getting a brand new one so remember post some pics when the big day arrives.

I've enjoyed reading many and varied posts on this forum over the past few weeks.

There has been a delay in the delivery of my new Jimny but it will be here next month :)

Pics (of course) will be posted

Thanks all

I took delivery of the Jimny today. Drove it back from the dealers with a big smile on

my face. Here is a pic taken a couple of days ago before the plates were put on.
