Jimny's first pay and play day

I took the Jimny out on Sunday down to Slindon for its first pay and play day. I have been using it a lot on green lanes but not taken it anywhere to extreme, so I was very impressed with how well it did, it coped very well with some really tough terrain. I did however over heat the clutch trying one very steep climb so had to leave it to cool for a bit. I think this was down to me being a bit of a novice at more extreme off road and riding the clutch to much. later in the day I had learnt a lot more about driving offroad and had no problems with the clutch.

I did however loose 4wd about an hour before we left so I will have to investigate this further after Xmas and look at fitting some manual hubs. I was still very impressed at how well the Jimny coped even with just 2wd.

Looking forward to my first time out. Have done a couple of lanes (but around here, they're quite tame compared to some I see on here!).
