Fitted my rear TM shocks today but they came with some cable ties. Are these used to secure the rubber boots? Didn't come with instructions!

I've got Pro Comp fitted on my jimny and I haven't got the cable ties fitted because water gets into the boots even with the drainage holes, so it makes it easier to lift the boots to let the water out the water.

Good point! Mmm might be taking off the ties and letting them hang loose.

Of course, thats after I have spent an hour under the J pulling them down and tying them, and having rust flakes 5hit on my face :-(

Guess they call it character building :)
