Hi All,

New to the Forum, just bought my first Jimny, 52 plate, red and silver colour (Will upload a picture later)

I have done the usual TLC, diff oils, air filter, engine oil and filter, renewed the engine coolant and also had to fit a crank sensor after it kept cutting out when hot, mostly on the motorway to my discust!

Over the next few months my aim is to prep her out for Greenlaning and some mild pay and play days. I'm thinking off road tyres, CB radio, spotlights on a roof rack I have bought, under body protection, and maybe a lift but is not currently a priority.

Is there any other Jimny users in the Bristol area who now of some good green lanes?

I like the look of the Insa Turbo Sahara Tyres, has any one any experience of these? Also as the Jimny is standard at the moment what size wheels can I get away with before they start rubbing, 215 80 16?? Also I was thinking of either getting a totally new set of off road mud tyres, or getting a set of AT's I could just drive on all the time, what are peoples advice experience am I better off with two sets of tyres?

pics with 215 75 15s you can see they are qwite close and one had to remove the inner arches but thats easy.

im 99% sure that 215 80 15s will rub as 215 75 15s catch a mud flap screw i think if fitted but thats it.o and 215 75 15s dont fit the newer style front bumper without trimming it.

No you can fit 205/75/15 maxxis 753 bravo M/Ts with no bumper cutting have a look at this but it's the best thing to do is fit so spring spacers from Bits4Vits.
