Hi Could anyone please advise me of a part no or type No for the vitara "skinney" starter Motor.(boshe)
I ,am rebuiled a jimny that has had a baleno engine "poorly fitted in the past"damaging the gearbox.
I have used a conversion plate from vitara_mad and a gearbox i purchased from x_eng simon.we have it all fitted and working but the starter only fits on one bolt and was clamped to the outside of the bell housing with a staged spacer and theaded rod! from another thread I have seen it says that you can either fit the skinny starter or grind your block.I would prefer to use the skinney motor.

I don't know the answer but if you get no luck on here as not many of us have played with them, try asking on Shropshire Suzuki and Suzukiclubuk. They have many SJ owners who may be able to help.
