I wish I had the nerve to drive stuff like that!

Looks like Toyota or similar axles? The chassis looked Jimny-ish when it rolled and even the engine sounds like a Suzuki - clearly breathed upon slightly if it is.

Looking at it again in slow motion, the front diff is on the wrong side for Toyota - wonder if they could be G wagon or something? Chassis and suspension setup look stock although the wheelbase has been increased a bit.

The underside of the gearbox looks like a Suzuki Auto but dare say there are plenty of others with a square, flat bottom.

Great find!

Thats given me some ideas for the future. When i can afford to have it solely as a toy (sometime hopefully!) that would look the part and provide some sensible solutions.

Remove the rear door and plate up the rear windows.
Internal rollcage to include a bulkhead behind the front seats.
Fuel cell in the back
Rear winch
Arb compressor maybe located in there for air lockers(?)
Accessible storage for straps etc..
Route the exhaust up through the rear and exit at the top of the b - pillar.
Crawler box and sensible sized tyres like 31's
Strip anything non essential

I think i just found my dream spec!!!!
The hope is that one day i will be able to compete in novice challenges with my kids so i've got a few years yet.

Black Jimny's don't get stuck!
