I have been searching for a while but have been unable to find one already made.
my plan is to have one fabricated that will sit outside the standard bumper to offer protection, but still allow us to keep the existing bumper.
I dont see why the bar I have been designing could not replace the standard bumper either.

A couple of recovery points either side of where a winch could be fitted. The top hoop with spot lamp mounts and possibly a twig mount and branch wires mounts.
It wouldn't need to be as heavy as a full steel bumper either.
Mmmmm.....Food for thought.

mcjimny wrote: I like that, as others have said it would be less weight than a full steel h/d effort. Would look good with a matching rear one with areas to mount the factory lights.
I was think about that today, but im not sure what i would do with the outer corners where it meets the flare/body.
Any ideas?
