Hey all,

hope you're all doing well and enjoying your Jimny's :)

I've been looking through this site for a while as I'm interested in getting a soft top Jimny of the yr 04 or 05. I've seen many different types such as 02, jlx and even vvt jlx in the 05 models but I'm getting a bit confused! Would you be able to explain the difference between these different models please and is it possible for a jimny to be vvt jlx 02? (as I've seen one for sale and that got me even more confused!)

many thanks,

Rachel :)

thank you very much :)

just gave them a read and found out a bit more about the vvt.

so let me see if i got this right...

vvt=variable valve timing - seen from 2005 onwards - improves engine performance and fuel consumption (in noobish terms :) )

jlx = luxury interior trim and some other functions

as for o2 - just did an image search and the majority of pics that came up are convertibles...are the o2's the convertible models or ?

thanking you once again :)
