Ok some of you may know I bought my car brand new 10 years ago, modded it and stupidly sold it after 2 years. ..
Spec first time around was ;
ARB bumper, 9500lb winch, 4:1 Rob Storr transfer case/props/mounts 215/15 MUDs, DG tuning radius arms, Rob Storr panhards etc etc...
Must have been nuts to sell it... Had 3 In between but managed to buy it back in October last year, been gone 7 years and only done 14k in that time, but bit rusty in places.

On getting it back I've swapped the winch rope for plasma and put a lock right in the back , swapped the tyres for 31" Trekkers , binned all the seats and installed Recaro seats from an Ignis with help from on here, cut out all the arches, spares in the boot now where the back seats were.
Today I ordered some SJ Bushwacker Arches from Low Range Off Road in the states... So more arch trimming to come.

Still to do is cut and weld the floor pan to give clearance for the tyres, trim the ARB bumper down by 3 inches too as it'll catch on articulation.

Then off to the lakes for our weekend with Maverick , Dave and the two Phils !

Ill ad some pics when I get to a PC!

Gary

That tyre strap looks a bit thin and flimsy! You want a proper one like this -

Otherwise, looks great! B) For some reason that Jimny looks really familiar...?

Are you a slightly chubby fella?

Dave ;) :whistle:
