Saved the old axle casing to be done at some point...
Ummm, and I think Redacted is a bit busy at the moment... I'm still waiting for my Rocklobster that I paid for 8 weeks ago!

Not going to get Redacted to do a beefed up case for you?

Any news on the longfield rear shafts ? I have just had a pair of Samurai ones delivered. I hope they will stand up to the abuse of a lock rite.

That's what I thought. I'm hoping mine won't do that. I will be checking them a few times before the 12 months are up

They were prototypes though...
Not sure if they'll ask me to test the next ones in the production cycle

I asked the company I got mine off (Roadless Gear) about them and he said the jimny ones have been on sale for a couple of months now. So I hope they have sorted this issue ?

Hmmm, from what I was told these were pre-production prototypes?
Russ at JimnyBits asked me to give them a good testing... so I did! A punch hunt (we won!) and a good day at Parkwood 4x4's site at Tong near Bradford...
And I reported back on my findings, i.e. the twisting of the splines seen above and some other symptoms, to aid in the development of the final shafts, as far as I know...?
