Digital Camcorders for long road trip.

The Kodak Playsport ZX3 will do what you're looking for. The ZX5 is slightly better but no user-replaceable battery on that model. You can get about 2hours recording on a single battery charge. Just don't use Integral SD cards as they are crap. For a decent, but low priced Class 10 I'd go for the Transcend ones. I use them in my ZX3 and my Canon 550D DSLR no problems.
