NOTE: This is for members and their private sales/wants.
There are rules that suppliers have to follow (and many of you do follow the rules). However there have been a number of instances recently where "suppliers" have broken the rules.

Suppliers/Dealers or anyone selling with a commercial view in mind CANNOT post here unless responding to a specific request of a member in a "wanted" post.

Suppliers include people "breaking for spares" on a regular basis, when purchasing spares members should ask a supplier what they contribute to the running of the forum

Red Jimny for sale NW London

04 Mar 2020 20:05 - 05 Dec 2022 09:31 #219387 by laikathedog

After many years of service, it is time to sell my Jimny.

2002, dohc engine, Auto

145000+ miles, without a single failure! This Jimmy is a terminator... it just will not stop. It dances rings around Q7s and discoveries.. we drive around them when it snows. It has been my daily driver and commuter until late last year, now I suffer the tube...

Every year I take it for an MOT and expect a problem... every year it passes with no advisories !

Good points: utterly utterly reliable.
Interior is like new except the steering wheel which shows the miles... and Mark's on the headlining when I stuff it full to go down the dump.

Everything works, including 4wd!
Serviced every year, has had new tyres on the front, refurbed wheels in Matt black, bull-bars front and side in matt black, 2021 exhaust replaced, brake overhaul (2018), all fluids refreshed in 2019, custom roof cage included. Otherwise it has not needed anything for my entire ownership.
MOT guys say it is in great condition for its age.
will come with new MOT

Bad points
Steering wheel is showing its age.
Bonnet has an odd mark in the centre, two chips on the leading edge, small high level dent on rear door.
Kayak dented NSF wing top, probably an easy fix for a body shop, but I have never bothered.

Happy to send as many pictures as you need!

I notice that prices are increasing so I am looking for a realistic 2500
