Evening all,
so after driving around in an amazing Hilux Surf ‘monster truck’ for a while, I decided to downsize by a million percent and bought this Jimny. I’ll be pimping it up over the next few months, but firstly I need to sort out a few issues. Binding front disk, leakng axle bits and a clutch bite 1mm from fully depressed pedal.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

The clutch is likely just adjustment, there is a twizzler on the outer cable at the gearbox end, there are also different cables for the different gearbox types, I think the early one has a longer inner than the later type, so if it runs out of adjustment it is probably an early cable.
