The latest mods to my Jimny

I've done quite a bit to my Jimny over the last week. Firstly, my Xrox Bull Bar finally arrived.



Installed by Opposite Lock Springwood (3808 1700).

Then I decided it was time to do something about the sound system. For those who don't know, a stock Jimny has 4" speakers in the front and no rear speakers. I decided to change that. I installed some JL 6*9s in the panel on the rear door. Took me and a mate ~4 hours but it came up beautifully!!!




In other news, my Jimny will be making an appearance in the magazine "Australian 4WD Action & Adventure" in their new "Adventure Addicts" section. Unsure which issue it will be appearing in. When I know I'll let you guys know.

The rear speakers look cool, I fitted some in standard hole behind rear panels but I do like these, what did you make the panel from?? Cheers

some mdf, black leather, glue and a lot of patience.

i attempted to fit a set in the back "arm rests" didnt go to plan hahaha

Yeah I explored a few options. Ripped up a heap of the trim in the back trying to find somewhere for the b@stards to mount. No luck anywhere except the boot.

Only thing with the boot door is that you need to be wary of the depth of the speakers. DONT cut through any of the supporting framework of the door.

I read a nasty story about that recently
