Hi everyone,

I've been lurking around this forum for a while but have been waiting for the "nice" weather so that I can get myself a bargain Jimny.

I found that bargain today. It's a 2000 W reg hard top in blue. Not my first choice of colour but it was a price that I couldn't refuse. It's had 2 previous owners and has a full year's MOT, 6 months tax, brand new clutch and exhaust and the timing belt was done less than 10k miles ago.

It's completely standard but I'll post pictures after I've picked it up on Friday.

Just wanted to say hello really.

Thanks for the welcomes everyone. I am planning modifications - credit card permitting.

I will probably modify it 'as and when'. I will take it for a little play at the weekend and see what it needs to start with. I'm assuming the first thing it will need is some nice new boots for the mud. What was the first thing you all did to yours?
