Front axle shifted after lift – Jimny JB43 LHD

Hi everyone,After lifting my Suzuki Jimny JB43 (LHD) with Black raptor 2 inch with new springs and shocks, I noticed that the front driver’s side wheel sits closer to the front bumper than the passenger side wheel. The gap between the tire and the bumper is visibly smaller on the left side. The lift was installed correctly and the car was on level ground during measurements. It seems like the front axle has shifted or rotated slightly. Is this a common issue on LHD Jimnys after a lift?Could it be caused by the stock panhard rod?And is it possible that caster correction bushes would help fix this offset?

With this type of suspension the front axle rotates "top to front" by a few degrees when the vehicle is lifted, this is why caster correction bushes exist. The axle will also move sideways - towards the right side of the vehicle - which may or may not be causing the off set you're noticing.

Hi LittleBigZah
Did you install just shocks and springs? if so than there will be a shift as mentioned by fordem, 1 the axle has rotated do to the lift, also the panhard rods are fixed (Not adjustable) so the axle will move sideways.
Best thing to do is castor corrections bushes to start and consider the adjustable panhard rods as well.

I'm reading this as the wheel on one side of the car only is now further forward than the wheel across the same axle, is that right? If so unless you have altered the radius arms or their bushes in some way as part of the lift then just fitting lift springs and dampers shouldn't have any means of altering the wheel base on one side of the car.
