Jimny rear wash wipe water pipe split. was created by Rackseng
I've had washer fluid seeping out of the bottom of the rear door, so I removed the rear door panel and pealed back the rubber gasket and tubing containing the loom and washer pipe and noticed the washer pipe was split. It's got a spring inside the pipe, must be to reinforce the pipe when its flexes.
Has anyone tried replacing a section of this pipe ? Looks like I may have to remove the off side internal panel to get access to more of the pipe and put in an 4mm inline coupler and a new length of 4mm pipe up to the rear wash wipe nozzle.
Any advice or guidance gratefully accepted. I think I may have to remove the rear seats to get the offside internal panel out, hey ho that'll be fun !!.
