I'm about to replace the vacuum hoses. I've read here 'internal diameter = 3mm', but I've also seen a posting mentioning 4mm.
What's the correct size?

The metal tubes are 4mm outside diameter. The rubber hoses are 4mm inside so they push over the metal tube.
If you have rusted out tubes, you can buy 4mm nylon tube pretty easily as it's widely used in industry. You can also get 4mm plastic push-fit fittings in all sizes and shapes. You need two push fit tees to split the tubes out to each hub. There are lots of sellers on eBay. That's what I used on my Jimny.
