Hi, new to Jimny and our 2002 has one key that opens the drivers door and starts the car.
But the key won’t open the passenger or rear door, how hard or expensive is it to get a set of second hand keys, ignition barrel, locks and immobiliser box (or what ever is needed) to change it all?
The keys are coded to the ecu and not necessarily straight forward to swap. That said it is possible for a locksmiths to repin the tumbler to match an existing key which I think a couple of forum members have successfully done certainly cheaper than a trip to the dealership to fix.
