60mm mate (from Ulysses's orginal vvt inlet manifold):

It has a slight flare so would be easy to adapt to silicone pipework. If its the size of the butterfly you are after I have posted on here about it before. try searching to do with a rav4 throttle body because thats what i was thinking of using with an adapter plate. The liana 1.6 (non vvt) throttle body fits straight onto a vvt jimny manifold and has a larger butterfly

Thanks Riccy, exactly what I was after...... The Liana tip is worth a follow up, I'll have a sniff about at the local scrap yard as soon as I can.....

yeah defo, Liana TB made a fair old difference on the grey one. No issues with the ecu either, which was convenient ;-)

Think it came from a 2004. Worth a punt on the inlet manifold from same car as I think that might fit and give better flow too.

Or you could have a chat with Dave Marsh Racing about their adapted swift inlet manifold in a Jimny (swifts use a drive-by-wire throttle, so TB no use in a Jimny and the inlet is right in the bulkhead so needs moved and alu tig welding, dont know what TB they use).

Ive got a swift 1.6 vvt manifold you can have to chop up if you want it...

BTW, the stock Jimny inlet manifold ports onto the head are about 5mm smaller than the ports on the actual head, restriction or what?!

This pic shows the black gasket on the inlet manifold (the black gasket apertures are exactly the size of the head apertures, head's on 1.3, 1.6 and 1.8 VVT's all the same size from what ive seen)...
