Wheel Nuts was created by mickt
Are they different for the steel and alloy wheels i.e can the capped alloy wheel ones be used on the steel wheels i.e do they torque down correct or do they become thread bound?

I did a search "wheel nuts" and that did not work! That thread was a drag to trawl and did not really give a conclusive answer to the question of "do the standard Suzuki alloys and steel wheels need specifically capped and uncapped nuts?

Oh ok sorry I could have sworn it was mentioned in there. Senior moment. As far as I am aware for the factory steel and ally rims they often seem to have the same nuts when I have looked at them. Don't know what difference aftermarket wheels will be. I also don't know if Suzuki used different length studs on different years or between models with and without factory ally wheels.

Wheel nuts did have a mention on page 5 but it was specifically about wheels other than the Suzuki variety. It mentioned the 60 degree mounting face but as the alloys are thicker than the steel rims I am wondering if the capped wheel nuts will bottom out on the steel rims to the extent that they seemed to be tight but not to the correct torque nut to hub as opposed to nut to rim. The car is a 2002 model by the way.
