Replacement front bumper was created by 1066Boy
Hi all. Kate had a small accident on the way to work. Nothing major and no injuries but the front bumper on her 2003 soft-top is knackered.
When the weather improves I will change it. The question is, will only the Mk 1 bumper fit or will the later ones go on ok?
It will probly be a second hand one unless new ones are cheap.

All three generations of front bumpers should be normally interchangeable between any Jimny, as far as the chassis and body mounts are concerned.
If you drive on off road terrain, it is advisable to get the same 1st gen. bumper model as you had already, as it is the smallest model.
Read my wiki article "Front bumper issues" for more details.

Thanks for that. Kates jimny is just used around town and for her travel to work so the bigger bumper will not be a problem.
