Hello all,

I´m new to this forums and just bought my 1st Jimny :)

He has a few problems that I´, working on getting fixed but the one thing that I can´t find out what is going on with is the rev of the engine.
When the car is started it revs abit hight 1900rpm and its not that cold out side but when the engine gets to normal temp it starts to rev up and down from 1500-2000rpm when I clutch and if I stop the car it stops reving up and down and goes up to 2500rpm and stays there.

There are allot of sensors that is most likely the problem here but witch one?

Anyone got an idea?

That's a mean looking beast you have there. Maybe it's just raring to go. I don't have an answer for you, but someone here will. Welcome to the forum.

I think the truck looks fantastic!

I had an issue with the IACV at one point which sort of was similar to your problem....try cleaning it/checking that it works

Maybe as a long shot mine also had an occasional front Lambda fault code pop up now and again....fixed idle slight wandering by changing that.

Could you test your throttle position switch?

Has the screw for the throttle stop been adjusted incorrectly(check the kpa at idle maybe?)

So even if none of that fixes it put a video up of your truck off-roading :D
