Squealing noise was created by boardy
Hi
At the beginning of the year my 07 JLX developed a squealing noise, like a belt slipping. I had the power assisted steering belt replaced as it was looking worn and all the other belts were deemed ok. Squeal came back so the garage retightened and all summer not a hint of a squeal but now the weather is turning colder it's coming back. It's intermittent and, mostly, if I dip the clutch, give it a few revs and change to second it goes. Any ideas as a starting point?
Cheers in advance
Chris.

It sounds like the alternator belt to me- usually best to change them both at the same time for sake of a fiver or so.
Mine was doing the same and swapping the belt sorted it

When you change your belts get all your pulleys and alternator wheel cleaned to a meal eating standard or you will replacing your belts all over again in a few months...I have just suffered this ha ha.
Have a look through mine and mickt posts as we have both had issues, micks are a little worring lol
