I'm getting a bit bogged down by all the tyre info and can't figure it out so If I say what I want can someone tell me what tyre is best please.

I need good mud grip...The Jimny has to make it on the forest rides.
I don't want to be chopping my arches.
I would like a wider foot print
They need to be poor man friendly
I can't afford a lift kit.

I know this is probably the most asked question but I can't find the answer. If someone could tell me a make, model and size that would be great.

Cheers jack, that is definatley a good price! What is it that people don't like? I have seen some Malatesta Kobra on ebay they are also retreads but come supplied on wheels for around £500 do people know much about these?

If you are willing to spend £500 for remoulds on cheap rims, spend £500 on BFG mud terrains for your standard rims instead. Go for 215/75 R15. They are the biggest tyre that will go on a standard Jimny.

Also have a look on jimnybits.co.uk
He has some good combo deals
One is a set of standard size mud ax tyres with a 2" list for £599!
Mud max tread pattern is one of the most aggressive tyre patterns for off-roading and are the same as special tracks and kaimans
Just 4 tyres only for £216
Worth a look

It's your money and your choice, But that tyre went on me at about 50 miles an hour. So i no longer buy retreads.

It's been fettled just a tad.
