Right I'm currently swapping the jimny axles for Nissan patrol ones I know this will cause a few problems with the standard engine, should I swap the engine for a bigger one or put in a lower range transfer box, thanks for any Help the jimny is only used for off road

Gearing first. Otherwise you'll end up spending more on clutches than the new transfer case will cost.

But why put such massive axles on a tiny Jimny ?

I adds loads of weight to unsprung weight, which does nothing good to how to car handles.

Also, for the same money you can install uprated shafts and CVS.
