Have a look at the photos if you would please and identify the part and secondly is its replacement is it just a unscrew and replace or something more.
I hope you can see the photos from the link. It is a blue topped nut with 2 wires coming from it one of which has come away. I'm guessing its a solenoid or sensor of some description on the underside of the car screwed into the 4x4 drive.
I had the car in 4xdrive, put it up on a ramp pulled the wire which was hanging by a thread and one of the wires came away. I then drove off the ramp, the 4xdriive indicator was flashing, put it in normal drive and now it won't go into 4xdrive as per the indicator.

Researching the web and I'm thinking it could be the 4 wheel drive selector solenoid but could do with it confirming please.

I managed to id the part which is a 4x4 switch attached to the front of the Transfer case.
BE AWARE WHEN REPLACING THERE IS A BALLBARING WHICH IS INSIDE THE SWITCH SOCKET WITHOUT WHICH IT WILL NOT OPERATE.
I lost it not knowing it was there. (Found it by luck)
