Problem fitting steering damper

I have one off this kit (Armstrong)

The bracket to the frame dont sems to fit so well.
The frame bracket and damper come very close to the steering arm (adjusteble arm from steering box to weel),
and it vill probably be problems when the spring kompress max.
The manual shows a pic on a different frame bracket,but i am shore i have mont it correct.


My Jimny is a -2005 vvt,steering weel on left side, not lifted.

In this kit only for lifted Jimnys ?

You may have to fit it on the other side as you have a LHD

I move the bracket more to the front off my car (fornt side of the rond pipe between frames),
it works ok.
The damper cant now not hit something now.

I take a testdrive, its like a diffrent car to drive. :woohoo:

I strongly rekomend a steeringdamper on this cars.

I have to mont the smaler ones off the brackets to the steering box side, no adder choise.
