mineral, syntetic or semi syntetic only make a difference if you drive the car very hard or not. has more to do with how long it lasts than anything else i think.
as for viscocity (butchered that one), since you are from a country with cold winters i would go with 5w.
not sure about the 30 tough...i think i use 5w40..
for cold weather low vicocity is recomended because it will lub it up well even befor the oil is up to temperature.
i use shell helix ultra 5w40. was the same on the 1.5ddis (not the same oil, but the same "range")
we have some cold-ish winters, about 0ºC at times, and hot summers, 35/37ºc is normal, at times 43/45ºc, and i never had any problems with it. change every 8-ish thousand, and i regularly use all of the engine's rpm. started using it because of the cold starts in the winter, but i think a 10w40 would have the same performance more or less
