Rough Country N2.0 Shock Absorbers was created by horam_jimny
Does anyone have any experience of reviews of these on a Jimny?
I just ordered a set today as the old Pro Comps I had were a bit too harsh for the amount of road driving I do and have noticed a deteriation in ride comfort over the last year. Today I heard a knocking sound coming from the rear and on closer inspection the off side shock has completely given way and is clanking around .
A depressing way to spend £190 when I was saving up for a Yukon Photon

Sorry to hear that mate, ive got Pro Comps awaiting fitting so hope they hold out.
On a side note, wouldn't bother with the Photon. Get a NS Viper with an additional T20/38 IR....good for 200yrds
Scoped NV plays havoc with my eyes, much prefer a screen.

Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.

I've got a pair on the rear of mine, they have about 10k on them. Mine is lifted 2" and I did have to add a couple of washers behind the lower mounts to stop them rubbing.

Ah I've tried the screen add one and not a fan whereas I've used some nice Geniii image intensifiers with a near eye set up and much preferred them.
Fingers crossed the new shocks will fit easily enough and improve the ride a bit too.

Well if I get the Photon and take it out with the JImny I'll post up some pictures and a review!
I went to fit the shocks last night and what a pain in the ass!
I started with the rears as thats the one that went, the first bolt was seized (I had been soaking them all with WD40 all week) so gave it some wellie and it snapped in half! Then basically limited access and rusty bolts combined with the fact I don't have a driveway so was doing it all in the street in the rain and impending darkness meant the job was a nightmare. I managed to change the rear shocks and gave up then as it had already taken me 3.5 hours after telling the Mrs "don't worry I'll only be an hour tops"
I then had to drive to work with the off side shock being held in place with a very inferior bolt I'd found in the shed until I could buy a proper replacement today!
