Hi people

I fitted a set of daihatsu wellers to my jimny today they look staright and undamaged but the wobble is unreal at 45 so bad I have to pull over and start again will balancing sort this ?

If you had no issues before fitting them, Then having them balanced would be a good start. If you had wobbles before fitting them then the above linked thread is you next stop for information.

It's been fettled just a tad.

Drove spot on before with the alloys and the muds they cost me pennies but I like the look so would like to keep them .

Just a bit more info might help.

Are the tyres new and were the wheels balanced etc. etc.

Sometimes or even often it's the tyres. If I am going to have troubles it is usually not with steels. Even alloys are comparatively rarely to blame.

Did you clean up the mating surfaces?

Old tyres but matching on axles and look ok . I haven't had them balanced being tight gonna have them done tomorrow
