410 Transfer Box Options? was created by NZ Zook
Hi Guys,
I have a problem i'm trying to get around so open to ideas.
I'm running a 99 Jinny with 1.6 bottom end and 1.3 top end with standard gearbox. The diffs as far as i know are 5.1, i have a Suzuki 410 transfer box fitted and Running 31" tyres. The problem is its great for low range but as i'm sure you can guess struggles on the road getting much over 80km. Currently don't have a car capable of towing it safely so do i upgrade my car or can i do something magical in the transfer box area to give me a higher high gearing and not suffer to much on the low. Now i know this would mean the best of both worlds which i know is never usually an option in life but hey worth a go. Thanks for your time to anyone who read this.

You could put 3.9 diffs in and have the 410 made into a rocklobster?
