I would recommend that before anyone buys the components for a bodylift, they check to make sure the body mount nuts can be loosened.

I made an error in buying the kit first and even though I'd started spraying the mounts (and steering rod, airbox, headlight and bumper mounts) with penetrating oil weeks before the planned lift, the mounts were seized solid and had the "Reasonably Priced Gaz" used both hands, the studs would have simply sheared off.

I had even used ramps to make access easier and ensure the mounts were well soaked





so the job has been booked into a garage workshop on ramps with heat and voodoo magic .... obviously costing more than I first thought :pinch:



anyway to the garage next week with the bits
