Hello!

I got an idea to change my cabin / pollen filter, but I have no idea where it is located in the car! I looked and poked my head and fingers everywhere.

Where exactly is it and how to reach it?

My Jimny is left hand drive, made in 2006 (revised version with new interior looks and front bumper), with air conditioning, and with a factory Renault diesel engine (if that means anything for this story).

Hi if you search for pollen filter on the main forum page it will show you some results page 2 has a link on it by Martin explaining what you need and how to replace it, think this is for a RHD but probably in the same place just on the other side :woohoo:

Found it!

It is here:
www.bigjimny.com/images/documents/fittin...or_pollen_filter.pdf

The thing which baffled me is that no "cabin filter" or "pollen filter" is mentioned anywhere in the service manual, just like Martin said in this guide.

The replacement procedure of this filter appears so complicated and so risky that it raises a question if Suzuki had ever meant for it to be replaceable!

By the way, does anyone know the dimensions of the filter?

I bought a supposedly compatible cabin filter for my Jimny from a local aftermarket car parts store, made by Nipparts. The box contains two identical filters. The diensions of each are approx 22 cm x 11 cm x 2 cm (without the outer sponge cushioning).

Maybe these two need to be stacked side-to-side?
