Hi all , in the process of building a 2nd jimny as a trailer car , the back was already cut off when I got it but electrics are tied up out the way , also took the doors off earlier I am wondering what to do with all the electric wires left over? Should I cable tie them up and tuck them out of harms way ? No wires have been cut just un clipped and the car is not going back on to the road.

The car is switched on the negative side so all those plugs have a live feed all the time. As such I think I would be inclined to spend the time isolating the supply to everything you will not use at the back but do so nearer to the fuse box or at the fuse box.
Having said that, will you not have any rear lights, even if not used on the road. I would imagine all will be useful, even off road. Even on a Pay and Play site, people will thank you for having brake & reverse lights and if you ever go off-roading in the dark the other lights will become useful for people following you around.

I would tape them up and hide them out the way as kirkynut says would be an idea to have some lights or at lest if u still got the wiring u could add lights if your plan ever changes and plus iam not a fan of electrics they always seem to give me trouble so tend to leave them alone unless i really have to

Might be a daft idea but why not cut them back and terminate them to a 13 pin trailer socket. Keeps it neat and also gives you option to connect up a trailer board on play days and such..
