Mark might have touched upon your issue here. The tensioner has a bearing in it. Take the belt off and feel how smooth that bearing is. It could have seized and freed its self at some point, snapping each belt.

I've got a twin cam non vvt that I am referring to and I think this is the bearing for the tensioner if it is the cause and feels ropey when you check: www.bigjimny.com/store/index.php?_a=product&product_id=164

Thanks guys i have cleaned the fan pully as it was cover in burnt rubber and have fitted a 4pk850.
Got a green lane day suday so will find out then if its worked

Also i dont have a tensioner on the fan belt the alternator tightens it up?? Should i??
