Hi guys, I'm new to the forum and I wondered if you could give me some advice. I'm sure this probably gets asked often on the forum but I'm unsure - I have a 2002 Suzuki Jimny Special and I was wanting to know if it has a timing chain or a belt? On the windscreen it has M314 AS1 on it, is it likely to be a timing chain?

Chain, it will be the m13a engine

If it says DOHC or M13a anywhere, it is a chain.
The sohc g13b has a plastic cam belt cover on the front and a skinny head, and is belt driven.
