Master cylinder bleeding was created by miktt100
Master cylinder has been stripped now so I suppose I've got to bench bleed the master has anyone got any idea where I would get a kit or what size are the 4 outlets so I can buy some barbed screw ins and some tube . Has any one done this ? Does it need doing or should I just bleed through the system as normal .
The reason I ask is after I put it all back together I put a small amount of fluid back in master on my bench then pumped the piston a few times and not a great deal came out , and only from the back 2 , not a drop from front 2 and only a few bubbles popped back up in main reservoir from front feed ?
Any ideas ?

I would fill the reservoir and open the bleed nipple on the rear passenger cylinder, being the furthest from the reservoir. Once fluid runs out get an assistant to pump the pedal while you open and close the bleed nipple and check the reservoir level. Once all the air is out do the nearside front and then off side front.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

Don't forget the nipple on top of the compensator valve above the rear axle.
It bleeds the front brakes.

Happy Christmas all !!!!
Yeah that's where all this problem arises , I've had that off and cleaned it through , but when I bled it nowt comes out that nipple but if I take a feed to it off I got fluid from that ??
So I stripped master ,cleaned it now if I set it on my bench and fill it with fluid nowt comes out the front 2 holes and after consulting the God that is YouTube
it says you need to bleed the master by putting hoses coming from all your feeds into the resivoir which I can understand , but what size is the input size to the master ? Is it metric ? M12
Or is all that unessary? Bloody YouTube
Thanks once again , I'll go and enjoy Christmas now

I have spare unions at home, if you can get some off cut brake pipe we can make up a bleed kit.miktt100 wrote:
